the irony of the title

civil service in india is called so for what reason i do not know...its origin and development in colonial time sure lent it a brutal and exploitative edge....post independence it carried on in the same mould...now when i come to think of it.....civil service is fast becoming anything but civil....dgp's raping people,bureaucrats vying with politicos for the corruption pie....its a mess!!!!!the other half is 'servant',now here is an irony if there ever was one.......who in the world would think it would take such a long tedious process to be given a chance to serve???????and the attitude!!!!not even a visiting head of a state can manage to put up such airs as our 'babus' can.....what worries me immensely,is that these are the medium by which this country must develop.....any genius with any solutions to clean up this mess???????

sure theres space enough for some able bodied and steady natured NON CORRUPT people to get in and try wrecking this system from within.....i hope to be one...........any takers?????????
